LEARN ABOUT OUR INITIATIVES

Place Your Lot/Home On Hold

Once you have selected your ideal home site, you are eligible to place a temporary hold on the lot/home. Your Sales Representative will provide you with a list of to-do items including reviewing the pre-planned options available for your floorplan and scheduling a follow-up meeting with the Area Sales Manager (ASM).

Financing

Consider your current financial situation and calculate how much you can comfortably afford on a new home. A member of our team can help get you connected with a Fifth Avenue Homes preferred mortgage broker who will help support and guide you all the way through the buying and building process.

Home Evaluation

Do you have a home to sell? Fifth Avenue Homes has partnered with The Home Hunters Real Estate Group, offering you a “List For Free” solution to sell your existing home. The Home Hunters will provide a complimentary market evaluation of your home, and Fifth Avenue will cover the listing fees, saving you thousands of dollars while providing assurance that your home will be listed and marketed to the highest standard.

Specification Demonstration

This critical step in the buying process is to demonstrate the fit and finish of a Fifth Avenue Homes build, showcasing the high level of quality you receive in one of our homes. Your ASM will take you on a guided tour of the show home, explaining our standards and optional upgrades, as well as guide you through the Selections Catalogue to show you all of your options available in a pre-construction build.

Complete a Purchase Agreement

Now that you’ve selected your home, the next step is for your ASM to draft the Purchase Agreement and supporting purchase documents to review and sign with you. The Purchase Agreement will outline your total purchase price, deposit schedule, extras to contract, and important notes to be aware of during the construction process. Once these documents are signed, they are sent to our head office for review and sign-off to complete the Purchase Agreement. Your ASM will schedule another meeting with you to deliver the fully executed agreement and Purchaser Binder to you.

Review the Purchaser Binder and Start the Selection Process

The Purchaser Binder is a helpful tool that you will receive, intended to keep all your purchase and selection documents in an organized location for easy reference. The binder includes important information about the build process, selections, and post-possession warranty items. Now that you’ve got the Purchaser Binder, let your creativity flow as you complete the interior selections for your home.
